Session 1: Inside Out 2: Choir edition!
September 26 - November 7 (5 - 6 classes)

We loved seeing the movie "Inside Out 2" this summer and hope you did, too! We'll explore all those emotions through song! You're not going to want to miss this energized and engaging start of the 2024 - 2025 season!
​
The session culminates in a sharing for friends and family at the final class.
Session 2: Be the Light
November 14 - December 12 (4 classes) PLUS a special weekend class on Saturday, November 23 (9:30 am - noon); no class 11/28
​
As winter approaches, we will sing about ways to 'be the light.' At Newport Sings, we aim to strengthen our community and inspire joy through singing! We hope our music will serve as a light in the darkness as the days start to get shorter.
​
Participants will perform the session 2 songs at the Newport Sings Winter Concert on Sunday, December 15 at 4:00 pm at Calvary United Methodist Church.
Session 3: Meow! Woof! Oink!
Dates TBD (~late January to early March)​

This session we're celebrating all of our furry friends! This session will be most certainly be a 'HOOT!'
​
Session 3 culminates in a special community performance. Details coming soon.
Session 4: Raise your voice!
Dates TBD (~mid-March to early May)​

NCYC will end the year doing what we do best: using our VOICES! In this session we will explore songs that encourage us to be the best we can be!
Participants will get to perform at the Newport Sings “Song Fest” on Saturday, May 3.
